Dog CCL injury: what owners need to know

Use the diagnosis and procedure names from the records
In dogs, the cranial cruciate ligament is commonly abbreviated CCL. Bring the examination or referral findings rather than inferring a ligament injury from limping. Ask the treating veterinarian to explain the diagnosis and available management paths.
